It has taken me quite some time to get myself back up and running after the holidays. I had set an intention to really enjoy the holiday season and to take time off to let my mind rest and refresh. Well, I took that very seriously, and almost a month later, here I am. But better late than never to express my feelings or showcase my work.
For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamt about hosting a lunch, brunch, dinner, drinks...anything really...for my "clients". But I didn't really know when I would have a company with clients. Until it was this year around October. I took a step back to evaluate where I was, and realized, I did it. I started to have a company with a team who helps manage and work closely with my clients.
I knew this was the year to give thanks and let my clients know how much I appreciate them. Even though it was four years ago when I moved to San Francisco, I remember it as if it were yesterday. I remember my family and friends thought I was crazy to move to the most expensive city in country without a job or already having a client in place. I just told them, "I will figure it out."
On December 12, I hosted my first ever client luncheon. I held it at Cookhouse SF and hired a Lauren O'leary from Lomad as our personal chef and Christina Vo from ConsciouStyle as my florist. Everything was perfect and just how I envisioned my first lunch. We shared low's, high's and takeaways from 2017 and set intentions for 2018. We bonded, we laughed, we toasted, we enjoyed.
It was one for the books for me.
