Anytime Amanda Holstein from Advice from a Twenty Something asks if I am down for an overnight adventure, there is zero hesitation. I always know I have a blast hitting the road with her, but also everything that Amanda does, is visually appealing and her branding is on point.
When I received the physcial book, I wanted to sit back with my cup of coffee and go through every image. It brought back memories that probably wouldn’t be triggered, unless I scroll my Instagram feed to see what I have posted in the past. Every image had a story; a story I can now share and tell when my family and friends see my book.
I have always been intrigued about capturing a moment in time. Whether it be on film, digital on a phone or a video recorder back in the 90's. The fact that we can take a moment and freeze it so we are able to go back in time and relive it with family or new friends is beyond crazy once you really start thinking about it.
I had an idea back in July when I had a urge to travel and be a traveling photographer. I wanted to visit the origins of where my dad was raised and the country he praises SO much about. I wasn't sure if I wanted to travel solo so I briefly mentioned it to clients Ariana Lauren from Fashion Born and Amanda Holstein from Advice from a Twenty Something .
I was barely just getting back from New York City when I get the email from Amanda Holstein of Advice from a Twenty Something that she had received a contract with Delta Airlines. Amanda had the option of going anywhere in the US and without a hesitation, she decided we were heading to the City of Music...Nashville.
